Chewing the Chocolate with Toni

An big thank you to all of you who popped in during our weekend launch. Our fantastic specials were well received as were our give away Slo-Jo drinks, tea, coffee, and cupcakes.

Bridget, Colleen, Candice and Carole were our lucky winners of our chocolate fondue. If you were not one of the lucky ones to have indulged in this decadent delight don’t despair. Every Saturday we will be offering chocolate fondues that you can come along and enjoy for R120. This will include 500g of Belgium chocolate of your choice as well as an assortment of delicious foods that you can dip into your fondue. (Enough for eight people) Please phone in and pre order so that we can prepare in advance.

Valentine’s day is just around the corner and if you are still planning on making something delicious, don’t delay. We have a wonderful variety in stock in packaging, moulds and bakeware for this purpose.

On the 11th February I will be teaching my first chocolate class of the year. As usual this is a special Valentine’s day class where we charge for one person but you get to bring along someone special for free. There are just a few places left for this Belgium chocolate class. Book now to avoid disappointment.

Other great classes to look out for are chocolate truffles as well as the class for decorating cakes using chocolate panels and a chocolate collar. In this cake class you get to complete two cakes working with structure sheets as well as chocolate transfers.

Once again this year we will be having our Easter egg charity drive when we ask you to come along and make an Easter egg for charity and you get to make one for yourself. This is for free, all you need to do is donate your time. Dates will be towards the end of March and times will be available in the next news letter.
